I recently (December 2012) purchased the Samsung galaxy ace plus on contract with Vodacom. It keeps freezing and rebooting when i am busy using it and wont/ hasnt ever accepted mail settings to retreive mail.
I have tried taking this to the Samsung repair center in clearwater mall Johannesburg, where the staff was completely unhelpful and sat around chewing gum not interested in helping me.
They eventually performed a software reload. This did not work and the staff then shifted me off and said i should go to vodacom.
Vodacom has done the same thing with no improvement to the phone and then sent me back to samsung.
So now i have a phone that doesnt work, within warrantee by both service providers and NOT ONE OF THEM ARE ABLE TO HELP, while i am stuck paying it off for the next 18 months.
