I bought my Chery QQ 0.8 TX 2008 model last year December and it had 32 000km on the clock. I bought it from Imperial Select in Edenvale. Im divorced & single mom& thought this car would be reliable. Unfortunately in December 2012 I had a terrible incident of the car smoking & making a horrible noise from taking off at the robot. Suddenly I had no gears on the car and I was then told that although this is a 2008 model and I only have 53 000km on my clock that Chery would cover my car under warranty as the whole clutch was burnt out. Unfortunately after sending it in to be evaulated etc I was told the repair for this would be for my own cost as the car is 2008 model even though the mileage is 52 000kms Chery refused to cover it. I was charged R3000-00 to fix it. On seeing the parts that were damaged it is impossible to believe my mere 20 000kms was able to cause such extensive damage to the clutch. I received my car back on 8 Jan and last week on the high way my car started shaking & I lost gears. Its now cost me another R4 000 to fix it as the gearbox went. I have spend R7000 on this car now to fix it. I have 53 000km on my clock and feeI this is unacceptable for a car with low mil
