FNB Business Banking Issues

We became part of the wave because of good marketing by FNB to switch accounts from ABSA to FNB.

We have had a really bad experience with FNB to date.

This culminated in me travelling and I cannot pay my hotel bills while we have adequate funds in the accounts.

My assistant phoned to sort out the mess but with no success and no concrete feedback.

This morning I phoned from overseas to be told we exceeded some hidden monthly limit that is nowhere visible on the new online banking web interface.

The call centre lady then told me that she will fix my limits for me and I had to wait a very long time for her (on an international call) to come back to me only to inform me that their system has crashed and she will get back to me.

This sounds like an unstable banking technology environment!

FNB Business Banking has placed me in the embarrassing situation where I can not pay bills on my trip while I have funding available. This without proactively contacting their customers to let them know why transactions are declined because of their internal banking policy limits.

Very, very disappointed in FNBs service to date.
