Internet banking frustration

I am unable to make any Internet banking payments because my daily limits have been set to R0.00. I tried to reset the limits online, but every time I entered the transaction verification code, I received a message to say it had timed out. I did this about five times before I gave up and phoned the call centre.

The call centre says that the only person who could have reset the daily limits to R0.00 is me. This is not true! I never changed the limits. And they say I can only change the limits by going to my branch - which is only open tomorrow. This is ridiculous and frustrating in the extreme. And the only assistance the call centre was able to offer me was an apology and a reiteration of the fact that I would need to go to my branch.

I am angry that my limits have been reset without my permission or knowledge. I am angry that the call centre assistant insists that it must have been me that made the change. I am angry that I have to wait to set the matter to rights, and have to suffer the inconvenience of going into the branch on the busiest day - a Saturday at the end of the month - to get this sorted. This is not acceptable.
