Mangaung Municipality
Electronic banking payments

CENTLEC has been threatening to cut my electricity, due to fact that some of my payments do not reflect on my account. On 28 February 2012 I wrote a letter requesting the credit on a 2nd account be transferred to my "outstanding" account. They stopped sending me the account in credit and also did not transfer the credit. On 18 March 2013 after a visit to their office Lucky Diseko supplied me with a copy of this account in credit, but Billy Monyaki refuses to transfer any payments unless I supply him with "proof of payment". I can not supply such as payment was done by electronic banking but how come all the other payments DO appear on my account (without "proof of payment"?) I compiled an exel sheet with dates of payments to assist them, upon which Monyaki still refused to allocate my payments. Since 1999 I was never requested for proof of payments, and as such do not have this "proof", other that the amount on my bank statements. WHAT IS THE REAL REASON BEHIND THIS REFUSAL TO ASSIST? IS THIS JUST ANOTHER CASE OF PASSING THE BUCK? My reconciliation as @ March 2013 shows a credit of R403.46, excluding corrention of interest being charged on my account! KINDLY ASSIST PLS
