I booked a place at palm springs resort in East London for the Junior athletics. So I find a place called palm springs on the web. Booked and paid a deposit. Once we got there the place was in a terrible state. The fridge in the kitchen could not close, bathroom door broken, no security gates, front door lever broken, etc.
We moved out to look for another place and did find a very nice place at less than what we paid for at palm springs. Belinda called me and said she was sorry we left and that they need this type of information to persuade the new owners to invest money in the place. She also said that they will maybe pay my deposit back. This never happened.
