ACCOMADATION CANCELLED A MONTH IN ADVANCE

I responded to an advertisement of a lady selling a timeshare in Durban for the first term school holidays in January, it was for a 4 sleeper and she was going to charge me R9500 . she than asked for an immediate deposit into her Capitec bank account, which I paid as a direct deposit. Then I paid her again in February another R3000 . when I contacted her again in February she said, thank you for the payment but she didn't secure my booking so she will have to find another one. I said its fine, let me know. She didn't contact me again. Due to unforeseen circumstance I had to cancel the holiday. I called her around the 20th of February advising her that I won't be able to come through and if she can refund me, she said she paid someone already in full so I should get someone to buy it from me. I said will try. I tried advertising it on our local website but no response so I sent an sms on the 22/02/2013 advising that I cannot come through anymore so will have to cancel and there has been no responses. She did not reply . eventually I called her again and she said I need to try something because she paid already and she can't give my money back. I advised her that I am cancelling
