We've had QVC vacation points for quite a number of years now. With the exception of three instances we have never been able to make a booking (at an "Administrative" fee of R7500-00 p/a excluding membership contracts amounting to multiple tens of thousands or Rand)! We constantly "lose" points and money - because we don't use what we cannot get from QVC!!!
One do not have to look much further than this website to understand the context of the problem. It's clear - members are "lured" into buying into a scheme, which frankly does not have what it professes to offer.
The standard resposes my fellow QVC members are sent, namely that "we have sent you an email", vs. how many customers indicate a satisfactory response. There is nothing in this company apart from holding its members at randsom (once you've bought into the scheme, you're a financial prisoner for life - unless if you pay another unsuspecting victim to take your membership, let alone buy it from you).
It is sad that one would need to look at e.g. the Access to Information Act, littigation, & other means to entice QVC to e.g. provide answers around number of units available vs requested/ required. We've had enough
