Last week I tried booking a holiday online as a gift to a family member. You can imagine my surprise when the voice recording told me that the company is closed from 13 December to 3 January and for club members to use the online booking system.
I tried using the online system, just to end up with messages saying that the bookings cannot be made, or that bookings were pending. I sent an e-mail to inform the company, and have not received anything back, Obviously!!
Eventually I read their "CONTACT US" page, of which one section suggested that "for International Points bookings" you need to phone RCI. We did so, just to be informed that we can view availability, but that all bookings need to be made by QVC and that they are not aware of the contact information on QVC's website.
By the same token, earlier in the year I realised that they forfeited my points for 2012, which contractually should not happen. After two queries and promises to have management look into this, it is now 8 months later and I am still waiting for answers.
This is absolutely ridiculous!!! How do you close a vacation club call centre over the Holidays?!!!
