I was (looking back) conned into buying this "Points system" which is "much better" than the system where you buy a certain WEEK, we were told, because then you can go on vacation WHENEVER you want to! I even asked about "availability" back then, in 1998, and was ASSURED that we will never have a problem with that! What a and misrepresentation it was? 15 Years later, and many THOUSANDS out of pocket, and NOT ONCE could we go on vacation to a place we really wanted to, and get a place! Twice we had to choose ANOTHER venue, and 2 we had to go at a later date! There were a number of years we just did not go because they could not get us a opening, 4 times in 15 years! Many times we LOST points at the end of a year JUST because I could not take them during the year BECAUSE they could not accommodate us WHEN we could go on leave (many times when it wasn't school holidays!! Try selling this "" (the points), NOBODY wants it, I even tried GIVING it away, but that too did not work! It is in times like this that I like the American system more, where I know a Class action lawsuit would have either FIXED this, or CLOSED these guys down! Guess their MD/CEO GETS his booking EACH TIME!!
