During February 2012 I booked a ticket on SAA to Port Elizabeth for my wife. When I received the credit card statement I noticed that I had been billed twice for the same booking. I took the matter up with my bank (ABSA) and later received a letter to the effect that SAA refused a refund and provided proof of the purchase. However, SAA provided proof of purchase for only one ticket, whereas, two tickets were billed.
During a follow-up communication with SAA in the person of Judith Toorn I was told that the matter was receiving attention, but to date the matter has not been resolved.
I have followed up with two subsequent emails to SAA in June, September and November 2012, but have not had any response from SAA.
