Road trip have endless inconvenient requirements to book a ride but do not stand up to their side of the arrangement. I wanted to use the service to get home safely. I was told that they could not collect me for 2.5hrs. It is unacceptable. Subscribers are demanded to pay on time, call an hour in advance, ensure that there is no waiting period for the driver and failure to comply all cause penalties. But Roadtrip cannot keep to the responsibility they are paid for... collecting it's subscribers. If we are late we get penalised. If Roadtrip dont deliver, what recourse do we have? or is there a clause somewhere that protects Roadtrip from what your are actually contracted for?
The entire contract is geared to protect Roadtrip and cost the subscriber. There are numerous clauses, terms and conditions that all favor Roadtrip and the subscribers. yes it is all on the website, but it is unacceptable that Roadtrip are so sticky about our promptness but it's ok for them to tell subscribers that they can only be collected in 2.5hrs. Surely Roadtrip should be penalised.
I am furious and when I tried complaining by phone I was hung up on twice.
