Flexi Club

My husband and I were confronted by a consultant in Westgate Shopping Mall and were interested in joining the Flexiclub.
We were told to give R1 500.00 as a deposit by the end of February in order to join and become a member. The booklet with all the holidays and a membership card will then be sent as soon as we provide the deposit.
On 26/03/13 my husband received a message on his cell phone noting that a deduction of R3 424.00 and R826.48 has been put through his account.
1. We haven't given a deposit, why are you debiting the account??
2. You have no right to just debit the account.
3. No deduction is to be made. Credit this money back as we have not given a deposit and have not received any documentation. Surely there must be a way to cancel this contract!!

We await your URGENT response!!!
