I found [URL Removed] on a smart phone Google search and spoke to a lady. I was told she could not take details on the phone and I should sms pick-up time, address and the area I was travelling to. She would quote and confirm pick-up. I received the word "confirmed", that was all.

I was collected by a vehicle marked as another taxi company. During the journey I was told the following:
- Safe-cabs was charging me R150 for the journey (4kms on the Drivers Garmin). The Driver showed me the sms from "Elzet". Also, the website has no price transparency.
- Driver told me he would have charged my R50 but insisted I should pay R150 as this was the agreed Safe-cabs fee.
- Driver also told me that Safe-cabs owed him between R2000 and R3000. I was also told that Safe-cabs is in serious financial trouble.

In summary the journey was R150 for 4kms, no quote was provided and "Elzet" would not answer my calls to discuss the matter.
