I am commuter on the cape town southern suburbs line... Ive been traveling to Cape Town from the Southern Suburbs for the past 7 months now, and Ive been late a total of 16 times in 7 months. (think about how that sits with my boss) About a week ago a friend of mine showed me the new plasma screens on Cape Town Station, i was immediately angered by this, simply because of this.
I buy a metro plus ticket to avoid smelling like i just came from the gym and yet i am squeezed into a metro plus carriage like a freaking sardine every single morning due to the fact that the train are always late for some or other reason!!! And then they announce "metro rail apologizes for any inconvenience caused"!!! what does metro rail do to compensate us as commuters?? what? Put plasma screens up so that we can get a glimpse of the same music video everyday? This is utter and i find it disgusting that the government can waste much needed money on such! hows about building better quality trains, or keeping us safe on the trains, employing diligent efficient security who can actually speak English!
i am sick and tired of this service!!! you METRO-FAIL!
