Yesterday evening at 7:20 I arrived at the airport to fetch my sister at the drop of zone which is a 20 minute free parking zone upon arriving to the boom gate I pressed the button and No ticket was issued I kept pressing still no ticket came out the parking was very busy and car behind me was hooting for me to move forward so i took it that because the 20 minute is free that there is no ticket being issued as the gate was left opened from the car that was ahead of me so I drove through picked my sister and went out which was at 7:30 at the gates they refused to send me out and wanted me to pay R50 I tried explaining to supervisor and to Seelan Pillay that I did not receive a ticket so they show me a picture of my stretching my hand out but they do not have a picture of me receiving a ticket to make matters worst Seelan Pillay wanted to charge me additional amounts as the 20 minutes was up and they time was 7:45 so I then had to explain they made me wait for 20 minutes explaining to them that their system did not give me a ticket they had no proof showing me with a ticket in my hand
