ACSA ripping people off for "lost" parking ticket

I am totally disgusted with the way in which i was treated today at acsa port elizabeth ticket office. I went to pick my friend up from the airport with my 2 toddlers in the vehicle, and unfortunately the parking ticket slipped between the ashtray and dash console and was not retrievable. I attempted to explain this to the ticket office after being forced to sign an affidavit with the police...(for a lost ticket???).

The ticket office refused to assist me and forced me to pay R150-00 to issue me a new ticket to leave the airport. This is totally unacceptable, and I feel completely ripped off. I was also told that if I retrieved the ticket, I could still not get a refund... ridiculous...

My husband retrieved the ticket by removing one of the panels in the vehicle, and the ticket shows I entered at 12:43, the receipt for the "fine" shows 13:22... so now what?

I am so irritated that we even need a ticket to pick up and drop off travelers here? No other airport requires it for drop offs so why in PE?

Shame on you ACSA... ripping people off...
