Medical student denied valuable study time

After sitting alert and ready to board at 13:20, flight SAA 1011 is notified at 13:15 on the board that their flight is cancelled. No one could tell us when the flight will be rescheduled. After waiting for an hour the flight is rescheduled for 15:00, but then delayed again until 17:00, without any notification except on the board. Very unhappy with SAA's lack of service and communication. Utterly disgusted.
