4 relatives returned to Britain on flight KL0592 13 January 2014. Asked at pre check in by Veronica Yka for boarding passes. Try to explain online check in did not allow printing of passes as child and assisted passenger travelling. Rude vague gesture given to "go over there", twice. Realised had to go to self check in booth. On return not asked for passes or passports. Targeted for different scrutiny than other passengers for pre check in baggage weight check. 2 bags each 2kg over. Rude attitude by Aluwanri Mabasa who claimed he was in charge. He was not. Arranged weight between bags so complied with individual allowances. Rude acknowledgement to go to check in counter. Spoke to flight controller who was very helpful. Knowing pax were British, Aluwanri insisted speaking non English in front of them to Flight Controller and was reprimanded. On flight Purser decided son in law must move and be upgraded and demanded 180 euros. Refused, so purser insisted child be moved, effectively then travelling on her own. Suggest staff go to Egypt Air to learn friendly efficient service dealing with pax.
