When trying to book a flight for my fiance, I came across an advertisement on the Mango website stating:
"20% off all Mango Flights. Offer EXCLUSIVE to Edgars and Jet Thank U account card holders. Book and fly 1-28 Feb 2013"
So when putting in my fiance's details and card details, I notice that there is no discount? So before proceeding with any payment, I phone the Mango customer care line. I ask the lady why there isn't a discount and she says that it is for Club Members only.
Nowhere on the advertisement does it state that advert that it is for CLub Members only.
Sure there is a "Terms and Conditions Apply" part on the advert, but you can't click on that to read the Terms and Conditions. I have searched the site all over and can't see where it says "Club Memebers Only"
This advert is very misleading and I'm sure many people have booked being enticed by the discount, only to realise that there isn't one, unless they are Club Members.
Luckily I didn't book and fall for this.
In all honesty i'm sure people could actually demand the 20% discount as Mango hasn't taken any reasonable measures to make it known that it's Club Members Only!
