We were booked in at Kiara Lodge trough a booking we made with the holiday club on the weekend of 22 March 2013. We were approach by a marketing consultant when we booked out on the Sunday. He wanted us to upgrade our membership, and tolf us about all the benefits when upgrading. He told us about a free boat trip, cheap air line tickets ext... It sound very promising and we did the upgrade, and pay the deposit on a 6 months budget plan of R6731.00.
When I phone the holiday club 2 days later, I found that the agent was lying and none of the things he told as was true. I send an email and I canceled the upgrade. The upgrade was canceled, but they still took an installment of R1171.42 of my credit card for 6 months.
When I discover that this was happening, I phoned them, and they confirm that the upgrade was canceled. They said they will do the refund, but I am still waiting. I phoned them again this morning, and was told someone by the name of Lynette will phone me back, but just as the previous time, nobody did.
I need to pay my fees for 2014, but I will only pay them when they refund my deposit.
Please help!!
