KULULA USERS PLEASE READ THIS!!! THE MOST "FOBBED-OFF" RESPONSE i HAVE RECEIVED!!!

I booked an incorrect surname for an on-line ticket- Kulula refused to refund ticket R835-had to rebook new ticket same person @ R1136 extra for 1 way ORT - KZN! Outrageous!!

My girlfriend had a booked ticket also to KZN - tragic family death resulted in her requesting that another family member use the ticket as she had to arrange funeral service - Kulula requested a copy of the DEATH CERTIFICATE in order to change a name on a ticket!! WHAT ARE WE DEALING WITH? ROBOTS?

FLY KULULA? NEVER AGAIN KULULA!

Thank you for your email.
Kulula has moved from being a ticketless to a ticket company to align ourselves with international best practice. A ticket is considered a legal document between two parties mentioned on it so therefore no name changes are permitted on our bookings under any circumstance, we only permit date and route changes alternatively you can request a refund which will be given according to your fare rules then you can rebook under the new name.
