Worst traveling experience EVER!
This is why;
1. I booked and paid for my ticket on the 26 Nov.
2. No phone operators in JNB ticket office (I was told the rest of the office went for training in Addis.)
3. 30th of November, still no ticket
4. Finally received my ticket on 4Dec!
5. JNB - ADD flight delayed by 1hr 30min.
6. No voucher at hotel transfer desk. Horrible que management shouting an screaming & 3hrs later I got a voucher.
7.I requested upgrade from the service desk. I was told me that I should request this upgrade at the check in desk, but that I could make use of the cloud 9 lounge.
8. 9:30, no announcements about my flight.
9. 9:50 I realized I wasn't going to make it, squeeze to the front where security told me: "Go to the que, we do this one by one", I explained I was going to miss my flight, he responded, "I don't care, this is Africa!! "
10. Missed my flight. Along with 5 other people in the lounge!
11. 10:15 Back to transfer desk. 3hrs, no help. Penalty to change flight and no hotel voucher.
12. 23:15 finally receive new boarding pass.
I'm very disappointed in the service I have recieved with Ethiopian airlines, &I hope to be compensated for my inconvenience!
