I booked a ticket with kulula airlines for my daughter in law with her husbands surname. Not realizing that her ID still reflects her maiden surname. On the time of boarding, kulula airlines refused her to board and cancelled the ticket. They thereafter refused me a refund. I then had to purchase another ticket for that flight, leaving me extremely disappointed and short on cash as I had to pay a further R665 . It was a honest mistake on my part, however I do not view it fair that I pay for another ticket. I don't see why kulula airlines do not use identification numbers when booking instead of names so as not to have such problems in the future. PLease help me get my refund and make sure problems like these don't occur in the future.
