MANGO AIRLINES - COULDN'T CARELESS ATTITUDE

I was booked on JE 624 from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth departing CT at 11.35. At approx 11.25am we were informed via a garbled message over the intercom system at the CT airport we had to go back to the Check In counter. At the Check In counter it was total chaos none of your staff made a single statement to any of the passengers as to what was going on, only those lucky few right at the front seemed to know what was transpiring. It appeared the flight had been cancelled and that a few lucky ones (15 I believe managed to get on another flight). There was no consistency as to how those 15 happened to get chosen, so people like me who arrived early and checked in on line were left out in cold.

There were only 18 seats left on other airlines we were informed, so that left the vast majority of passengers in the lurch. When I told your staff to call the manager they were very reluctant and when she disappeared to call the manager she never returned leaving all these passengers hanging around. Surely your manager should make an appearance during an incident like this.

Please jack yourselves - how does this look to tourists especially those who were going to the Rugby 7's.
