I booked a business trip and a holiday which included my family joining me in Bangkok. There is political unrest in Bangkok and whilst I was away asked my wife to work with Flight Centre Umhlanga to cancel the Bangkok leg. They confirmed a change was possible and when we agreed they indicated that the change wasn't possible. When we asked for options they asked us to go directly to emirates. When they took the booking they didn't ask us to go to emirates. Last piece of business I will do with them. My advice would be for people to do their own bookings with airlines and in that way they may save and also be in control of the tickets.
