Can't pay for a reservation

On four separate occasions I have secured a cheap flight reservation, only to lose it because the system would not accept credit card payments. On the first two occasions I tried repeatedly and each time it said "Oops, can't process this, try another method" and each time it billed me, but would not confirm my reservation. I was subsequently credited for the extra billings, but I had to fight for my bookings, which had since gone up. On these last two occasions, a flight I got at R954 was lost, and tonight a flight for R1105 was lost, because I can't pay. What is going on? Are they trying to force you to get expensive flights? Each time you phone the call centre, it takes 30 frustrating minutes of hanging on to the phone.
