I booked my flight in advance as I know the fare increases the closer you get you book to your date of departure. I purchased the 21:55pm flight from Durban to Johannesburg, as the 16:25pm flight was too soon and the next flight after was British Airways and that was out of my budget, as it would be to most people. I have since discovered that Kulula have now introduced a new flight, the 18:55pm. Albeit slightly more expensive (R100 more), the time of arrival is better than 23:00pm at night and I would pay the R100 more. However, when enquiring as to how much it would be to change my flight, I was horrified to discover that it would be R342.00 per change!! And that is not including the R100 difference in fee. That is ridiculously high and find it a cheek!! Had all the options been presented to myself from the beginning, i wouldn't find myself in this predicament and having to change. In essence, Kulula have made me want to change my flight and want to charge me for it!
I emailed Kulula on the 05th November and still haven't received a response.
Very disappointed as i always use Kulula as my preferred airline.
