Whilst checking into a Kulula flight from OR Tambo to Cape Town a ground crew lady advised me to move my suitcase so that the handle was facing upwards. I looked at her (she was in her early 20's and my self in my late 40's) and wondered why I as the customer needed to do this? I did as I was told but made a mental note as I was not feeling happy.
On my check in flight back with Kulula from Cape Town I put my suitcase with the handle facing upwards and was told by the ground crew to remove my old sticker - I am shocked at the treatment. I wont be flying Kulula again. Good luck to them in a industry that is finding it tough to stay afloat!
