I have booked flight tickets with kulula airlines
In Feb 2013 4the dec. June10th one of the passenger which was 2 be going with us passed away. I called kulula call centre & explained what happend. I will have 2 cancel the flights 4 dec reason been that according 2 our hindu tradition its only right we go after 1 year once the prayer & mourning period is over. Kulula refunded the person who died, wife and daughter but the 6 of us will have to cancel and move the flight to another time I was told will cost beween R171 to R375 subject to availability and subject to change, the price to move the flights R1288p/p which I think is ridicules & a total rip off. a difference in air fares I would say its fair cos @ the time we booked to now there's a difference in price, I would like from Kulula is some kind of compasion & sypamthy knowing there was a death of the person who was actually booked on this flight, not like it was planned, death can happen 2 anyone at anytime. I ask for the flights to be moved to the 25thApril to the 1st may 2014 and imagine the price we have to pay just 2 move the flights to those dates. very unhappy customer.
