Paid for an Intercity bus ticket to travel from Bulawayo to Pretoria on Monday 30 September. The ticket cost me R360. On the day of travel, the bus that I paid for did not pitch, instead we were made to travel with Eagle Liner which costs less. I phoned to request a refund but not getting a positive response. Instead, I am informed that I can only get my refund in the form of a discount for my next travel. I do not intend on making any travel arrangements with this company and hence am informed that I cannot get a refund. This is day light and I believe that surely there is a way of refunding passengers in cash. Also, if I had not phoned, nobody from Intercity Xpress would have bothered at least sending sms's as an apology of some sort. I expect to get my money. Please assist.
