British Airways Comair
Lack of Customer Care

Myself and 2 colleagues were travelling on flight BA6413 from OR Tambo to Cape Town on 26 September 2013.
Shortly after takeoff we were informed that there is a problem with cabin pressure. The sound was very bad and passengers could hardly hear what was being announced. About 10 min later the same message was re-announced and the pilot said that they would be burning fuel for the next 1/2 hour before returning to OR Tambo.

The problem I have is that not once did anyone say "don't panic, nothing serious" or anything to that effect in order to calm us all. None of the flight crew tried to make anyone feel at ease during this ordeal. No further announcements were made. We were not kept updated or made to believe this was a matter under control. Once the plane landed at OR Tambo it was announced that another plane was being made available for the flight to Cape Town.

I travel frequently, yes, but that does not mean that I do not need reassurance from the Flight Crew that all will be O.K and that i may trust their service again.

I do hope that your staff are trained on simple customer care and that i may trust your services again.
