Poor service delivery

Good evening
I had the worst experience on kulula flight MN135 departing from Joburg to Cape Town this morning.
We boarded the plane at 10:25 which was all in order. Once we were seated we noticed that only quarter of the plane was full. The pilot then announced that we were waiting for a group of passengers from Cathay pacific to board our plane and they were checking in and it would be another 10 to 15 minutes.
About 45 minutes later we were still waiting. I then told the cabin crew how annoying it is to have to wait, they agreed and then proceeded to carry on with their own conversation.
The cabin crew handled the whole situation extremely badly. There was a total lack of interest and they did not help to make the situation better at all. I asked one of the stewardesses if they could at least offer us some complimentary coffee. She said she need authorisation and then came back and said the cabin controller will come speak to me, I am still waiting.
When the group arrived, Chinese, who were battling to find their seats, none of the cabin crew were to be seen. The other passengers were assisting them. I felt that the cabin crew were "hiding" from us.
