I booked with Airport Hopper to take me to and from Cape Town airport on a recent trip to Gauteng. It's exceedingly difficult to find reliable businesses in lazy Cape Town and equally challenging to find drivers who are helpful and socially adept. Most of my drives have been decidedly uncomfortable as a result.
I booked with Vanessa a week in advance and her driver, Alistair, showed up at my door 30 minutes early (no Cape Town time for this business.) which meant I actually arrived in time. He was friendly, efficient and professional, which made the drive pleasant and comfortable. The same driver was waiting for me as I had collected my luggage. He took me past a store to collect some basics on the way home, which was lovely, considering they charge a flat fee and don't use a meter. I accidentally paid him R100 more than the owed amount and tip. The driver noticed after he'd dropped me off and came back to return the money, so top score for honesty as well. I am most impressed and will always use them in future.
