Poor Customer Service

On Saturday the 24 Aug-13, my wife and I went down to the offices of Emirates Airline, situated on the Umhlanga boulevard, to book an overseas holiday. On arrival we were met by staff that did not appear to be very welcoming, nevertheless, when we were able to speak to a so called Holiday Consultant, she could not even answer basic questions and eventually informed us that she is in training. We then approached a travel consultant namely Chantal, who did not have a shred of customer service, who was under the impression that she was doing us a favour in assisting my wife and I. We were so frustrated and dissatisfied with the customer service at Emirates, that we eventually walked out to visit a travel agent. We have since concluded our holiday travel and the logistics to such, and must mention that we requested no flights with Emirates due to the experience that we encountered at their offices. It is a shame that an international flight company treats their customers with such disrespect, they should actually introduce customer satisfaction as a key aspect, as there is a total lack of this key component in this organisation.
