Holiday Access club - money making scheme

On 8th June 2013 my husband and I bought Holiday Access timeshare with Club Leisure at their Club Mykonos office. We paid in advance. After 2 months we were still not able to access any information, got no responses via e-mail (unless we posted on Facebook). We were unable to register on their website, could not get any info. We did not receive the info file explaining the procedures, points or accommodation options, as promised at the Sales pitch.
Now, wanting to cancel, they are refusing to pay our full amount of R 6995.00 back, saying that according to the Consumer Act they are allowed to. Well, according to the consumer act, we had 5 days cooling off period, which we could not exercise, due to lack of service, lack of information and lack of support. How could we find peace of mind in our purchase if we could not even get any info? We could not even verify anything from the sales-pitch without the promised file or access their website!!
