DISGUSTED IN THE LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM

I pre-booked with Molefe on Friday, 16Aug for a cab to collect my son from The Woodlands Office Park, Woodlands Drive, Woodmead and take him through to 44 St. Patrick Road, Houghton on Saturday, 17Aug at 09:20AM. According to Tom Tom this was to be a 15.8 km fastest route trip. was told by Molefe the rate was R10.00 per kilometre. This is what transpired on the 17th August:

I received a call from Charles the cab driver (072) 103-2521 at 07:48 AM confirming the pick-up at 09:20AM
I called Charles at 09:27AM as he was NOT at the collection point and was told that he was running late and that he would be there in 10-15 minutes. I called Charles AGAIN at 09:51 AM as he was STILL NOT THERE
I called Charles AGAIN at 09:57 AM as he was NOT THERE. Charles arrived at 10:00 AM WITHOUT even apologising for being late - in fact he was on his cellphone when I approached the vehicle. My son told me that that meter was on R50.00 when he climbed in - Molefe DID NOT inform me of the min. rate. On the way Charles was swearing at drivers on the road. My son ended up paying R215 for a 13km (this was the ACTUAL reading according to his iPhone) and ended up NOT competing in his race scheduled for 10:20
