We purchased an iTravel package with tons of promises and gifts included. Sounded amazing at the time, so were caught up with the good sales pitch. We are however not ignorant regarding Travel or timeshare as we bought timeshare at a Gold Crown resort 13 years ago for R13 500 and have been able to use it, spacebank it, exchange it for other resorts all over the world etc. It has also escalated in value to R45 000. It has paid for itself many times over. My problem with iTravel is that we paid R14 910 in good faith believing for similar treatment, but have received NOTHING in return. We have not been able to use any of the FREE "gifts" given on registration and have till today not received ONE single special deal from them. I have contacted the offices for deals overseas, but have only received ridiculously expensive quotes. So I have ended up organising my own trips anyway! WHERE are we getting ANYTHING back from iTravel for all the money we have spent and cont to spend with their R900 deduction every year! We feel we have totally wasted our money and want some sort of compensation for lack of service. We could have spent this money on airline tickets instead of this nonsense!
