Non compliance to CPA

My daughter booked a flight in Feb 2013 - received an open ticket from Kulula. I called the call centre and spoke to a consultant who indicated that this ticket had to be utilised by 15 Aug 2013 - valid for 6 mths. As my daughters personal circumstances has changed, she was unable to use the ticket and will not be able to do so by 15 August. I requested for period to be extended as per CPA indicates - to be honoured in full by at least three years from date of issue. The consultant indicated that this could not be done as the system would automatically cancel if not used - put on hold for almost 20 mins before being transferred to Kenny Tissong who concurred with the consultant. I reminded him of the CPA and his response was that "Kulula was different". He further responded by saying that "Kulula had different rules and regulations not applicable at this point to the CPA -this is the airline industry -follow the rules and regulations of the airline" In extreme cases death/sickness may be extended. What abo System?? The CPA says that, [a]ny consideration paid by a cons to a supplier is the property of the bearer... to the extent that the supplier has not redeemed it 4 goods & serv ..
