Metrorail
Physical abuse at the hands of Metrorail employees

On the 16th July at about 16:40 I was about to enter Wynberg station when the passenger in front of me was ubruptly stopped by one your ticket conductor's Mr Thembani. The passenger's ticket was inspected by the conductor and withheld for no valid reason other than to be spiteful. The passenger became irate as there was a train approaching that he needed to board. THE TICKET WAS VALID FOR THE MONTH OF JULY. Mr Thembani then proceeded to drag the poor passenger down the stairs by his kneck and was about to get even more violent when I had to intervene as I was completely shocked and disgusted by Mr. Thembani's blatant abuse of his position. I asked him to let the passenger go as there was no valid reason for him being detained. He did so and then told me " you keep you too clever, dont tell me how to do my job" I immediately went to seek a supervisor and spoke to a Ms/Mrs Sampson who then informed me to complete a Metrorail complaint form and handed in to your office the next day. I am deeply agrieved by Metrorail and their staff as I have also viewed similiar reports with no response. IS THIS THE MANNER AND STANDARD OF METRORAILS "CUSTOMER SERVICE" or "NON SERVICE". Unacceptable!!
