So I cancel my holiday to Egypt due to the political unrest, rapes and murders and Amazingholidays withholds R4500 per person due to the cancellation then tell me I must take it up with African Encounters whom they did the booking through. How is this possible. Firstly do they expect me to go to a country where each and every government is advising their citizens not to travel to Egypt if it is non-essential. NOW I GET PENALIIZED by Amazingholidays and they tell me "I do not contest that we're the agent who you book through. What I am trying to convey, is that we are in agreement with African Encounters' assessment of the refund amounts, and am satisfied that their refund is fair. We will therefore not take the matter any further with them."
