After a mistake by a Booking Agent Mr. Sydwell Maluleke (Manager B A at ORTIA) calmly listened to my complaint and managed to get us on a flight that was fully booked to our destination. Not only was the problem resolved by he was also at the Check In Counter to meet with us on the date of departure to check that 'everything' was to our liking.
What impressed me even more was that he made arrangements to 'fast track' us through the security check and arranged for a Personal Escort to the Club Lounge. The total stress of the situation we found ourselves in was ameliorated by this special attention we received.
With his calm manner and by truly doing more that what was required he cemented our relationship with British Airways. What a Gentleman and an Asset to B A. He made our flight so carefree that I sometimes think I want the Booking Agent in future to make the same mistake as the attention to detail he displayed was noteworthy. (Just joking about the need for the Booking Agent to mess up again.)
