False advertising

So been trying to book tickets for flights advertised on special since before 9am this morning!
to which there is no response, not even a dialling tone, the line just gets disconnected. Have all the call records to show for it.
If its on a first come first serve basis why is there no automated response telling us to hold or someone will get back to u. Wonder if anyone was able to book tickets.
