In January 2012 I travelled return from Cape Town to Mexico City via Frankfurt with Lufthansa, a star alliance partner. My daughters' air-miles were immediately credited. Mine were not because there was a difference between the ticket name (married) and my SA voyager name (maiden name). After sending in all required documentation, my name on my voyager account was changed in May 2012. After 10 months i got as far as Yolande Kitching promising me that my matter was "escalated" to the highest powers of SAA. That was in March 2013. Since then I have not had any further mails or responses from SA Voyager, despite my many e-mails and phone calls every week. No one is responding to my query any longer. Even a mail coming from Star Alliance to query the matter has not yielded any response. It appears that at SA Voyager no one cares, responds or works any longer... I am starting to think that the lack of crediting miles is not so much incompetence but rather intent from SAA so to save a few bucks.
