I recently booked a flight to Cape Town for my son and I to watch the now cancelled Liverpool vs Ajax game. Upon hearing that the game was cancelled i phoned Kulula to not cancel but change my flight to another day. I was informed that i can only change the ticket as no cancellations on this type of ticket is allowed and that any change is going to cost another R600 per ticket to change. While i thought that this is a bit expensive i didnt want to lose my initial layout of R3500 for the 2 flights and said i would like to change it to September but i dont have exact dates as yet only to be told sorry wes topped doing that on the 19th of February so until you have exact dates and pay in the difference you have 2 hours until the original booking to make a change. I personally believe that these terms and conditions go against the coumsumer protection act and I will definitely never fly such a rip off airline again, when you phone the call centre the only response you get is a take it or leave it approach and when asked to speak to managment get told they will tell you same thing as its there terms and conditions. Please be warned against this when booking flights
