Recently made a booking with this service in good faith, attending an a concert in the area. Unfortunatly the venue has been changed by the promoter. Due to a SAPS order!
Not only are we hit by a cancelation charge but an admin fee as well! This goes against the Consumer Protection Act, which states "If there is more than enough time to find a new buyer for the hotel room or air ticket, then the cancellation fee should be paid back almost in full." Not 70% plus a 13% admin plus VAT.
Now out of pocket by over R850 for one nights accomodation.
Their arrogance is proven in the previous responses to complaints.
I expect no actual response, but it's good to highligt poor customer service in light of an event beyond control of the purchaser.
