Extreme overcharge for excess baggage

I recently flew with Qantas abroad and was charged R11000 for excess baggage, it was a bicycle and cycling equipment I was this ridiculously high amount. I was simply told they don't give allowances for sports equipment, keep in mind I was charged R500 for the exact same baggage from SAA but R11000 with Qantas, that is 20 times more with Qantas than SAA!!! On Qantas's website they say you can pre purchase excess baggage but according to the office at OR Tambo no such thing exists. I was ripped off and I will not fly Qantas again if this is how they treat sports people!!!
