False claims in matching competitor deals

I wanted to do upgrade to my existing contract, however, a competitor had a cheaper deal. I was told by Nashua Mobile to get a quote from competitor as they will match the deal. I did spend time at the branch (on 27 April) to get this in place, only to be then told that their pricing department was closed for the day, and that I had to return the next Monday (29 April). On arrival at the store on Monday, I realised that nothing was done to pursue this further and they then only proceeded to contact their pricing department. After waiting for over an hour, their pricing department refused to match the deal. I believe this is not ethical from Nashua Mobile who claim they will match deals. I had wasted a significant amount of time and travel costs to go to their branch and their attitude is also pathetic. I requested the manager to come out of her office after an hour to inform me what/why was going on. My contract has 2 months remaining but I will decide within this week to cancel this contract. I have had enough of this bad service from Nashua Mobile over the past 8 years. I have to pay cancellation costs; but it is better than staying with such a pathetic service provider.
