Cell C
International billing query R15G unresolved

October 2012 roaming activated at Mall at Reds. Assistant spoke to activation department. We were not advised, nor dreamed that datausage could end up costing R1000 per hour. For the 2 days at airport the wifi section of account came to R11, 000. Logged complaint at head office with Francois Fontein and Riaz Schuller and advised that CellC were in breach of the Credit Regulations act, by trying to deduct over R15, 000 from my account, whilst my record shows that I only earn R18, 000. They are also in breach of the Consumer Protection Act as we were not provided with cost breakdown indicating automatic downloads would come to R1000 per hour. Else we would not have signed up. We indicated that we would pay for the R4000 in phone calls once the matter was resolved and dispute settled. January Mr Fontein phoned me to say that the call logged at Reds was at the attorneys and that they needed to speak to the assistant at Reds and would get back to me - which to date has not happen. I have phone to follow up, but nobody returns my calls. In the interim my phone bill gets higher with monthly charges, but the number is disconnected. So I am being charged for that which I cannot currently
