I sent in my phone for the 2nd time in 6 months for exactly the same problem, the track pad on my Blackberry was faulty and kept on moving the cursor up and down while trying to type a msg on email or plain text, most of the time it got stuck so i had to press hard on the track pad to get the cursor loose, then eventually the screen cracked from the middle where the trackpad sits. Now the repairs department says that the damage is forceful and that its not covered under their warranty.
I then called the call centre nr that the sms stated i call and their service was terrible, and their excuse was that no matter how i explain what the faults they are just a call centre, i asked to speak to a supervisor because they couldn't give me the repairs departments nr, then i was told that all the supervisors were on leave as well as the managers so i cant speak to any one, this was on Wednesday 24th April, and the same thing today 26th April. I've called 3 times and still same story, they will escalate the call.
My first phone that i sent in for the same problem was less than 6 months old and it took me close to 3 months to get my phone back which was this one i sent in now.
